[[Disoriented]] is a [[:Category:Status Effects (XCOM 2)|status effect]] in [[XCOM 2]]. == Effects == * Lasts 2 [[Turn (XCOM 2)|turns]]. * -20 penalty to [[Aim]]. * -30 penalty to [[Will Points (XCOM 2)|Will]]. * -6 [[Mobility]]. Disoriented cannot stack turns with itself if applied during the effect. Restricts use of most specialized abilities.{{Explain}} It will also cancel [[Overwatch]], [[Suppression]], [[Mind Control]], and will end [[Psi Reanimation]] if used on the creator of the [[Psi Zombie]]. * [[Muton (XCOM 2)|Mutons]] cannot use Counter. *[[:Category:Psionic (XCOM 2)|Psionic]] enemies cannot use any Psionic attacks. *[[Codex (XCOM 2)|Codex]] cannot use Teleport or Clone. *[[ADVENT Stun Lancer|ADVENT Stun Lancers]] and [[Chryssalid (XCOM 2)|Chryssalids]] cannot use melee attacks. *Units cannot open a door, but they can run through it to open it. *Units cannot drop or pick up bodies. *[[Andromedon (XCOM 2)|Andromedon]] can still use Acid Bomb. *[[Berserker_(XCOM_2)|Berserkers]] and [[Faceless (XCOM 2)|Faceless]] can still use melee attacks. *[[ADVENT Officer|ADVENT Officers]] can still use Mark Target. *[[ADVENT Shieldbearer|ADVENT Shieldbearers]] can still use Energy Shield. == Caused by== * [[Flashbang Grenade (XCOM 2)|Flashbang Grenades]]. * using a [[Specialist Class (XCOM 2)|Specialist's]] Capacitor Discharge on organic units. * having the effect occur from a [[Stun Lancer|ADVENT Stun Lancer]] melee attack. * rolling for the effect from a [[Sectoid (XCOM 2)|Sectoid's]] Mindspin. * rolling for the effect from a [[Psi Operative (XCOM 2)|Psi Operative's]] Insanity. * Hacking an [[ADVENT Security Tower]] as a hack reward (disorients all enemies). * rolling for the effect after recovering from [[Dazed]] status effect. == Immunity == *[[Avatar (XCOM 2)|Avatars]] and [[Robotic units]]{{Explain}} are immune to being disoriented. *In [[XCOM 2: War of the Chosen]], all of [[The Chosen|the Chosen]] ([[The Assassin]], [[The Hunter]], [[The Warlock]]) are Immune to becoming disoriented.
