The Darklance is a primary weapon in the XCOM 2 expansion, War of the Chosen. It is the signature weapon of the Chosen Hunter.
The Darklance comes equipped with 4 superior weapon upgrades, one more than the maximum number of upgrades available to XCOM's weapons.
The Darklance requires only one action to fire, allowing the user to move/reload and shoot in the same turn. This allows the wielder to be significantly more mobile without sacrificing damage. This pairs well with abilities like Death From Above, as the killing shots from height advantage refund one action, allowing the soldier to fire again and repeatedly, similar to the Serial ability.
