Dodge is a stat in XCOM 2.

"An increased Dodge stat can lead to "graze" shots, where only partial damage is applied."

  • Each point of Dodge stat represents a percent chance for a unit to take reduced damaged from shots and melee attacks.
  • The damage is halved and rounded down first without taking Armor points into account, which then can potentially nullify the damage.
  • The damage reduced by Dodge cannot be less than 1, however, the Armor can absorb it.
  • Dodge can only be triggered by attacks which do not have 100%+ Aim accuracy, and Dodge is not activated by AOE attacks such as grenades.
  • Dodge cannot be activated if a unit is attacked with Katana or Bolt Caster.

Some enemy units have Dodge.

Gaining/increasing the stat[]

Dodge can be gained or increased permanently or temporary:
