The Grenade Launcher is a secondary weapon used by Grenadiers in XCOM 2.
Availability[]
As with all conventional weapons, the Grenade Launcher is available at the beginning of the game in unlimited supply. It can launch any grenade or bomb in a soldier's inventory. It cannot be used to deploy other throwable items such as Mimic Beacons or Battle Scanners; XCOM 2: War of the Chosen introduces one exception in the Ultrasonic Lure which can be launched. Another important feature is that launching a Proximity Mine does not break Concealment.

- The Grenade Launcher appears to resemble a Milkor MGL grenade launcher, with its large drum and overall form.
