- In XCOM: Enemy Within, using Headshot removes Squadsight's penalty against critical hits on targets outside the Sniper's sight range.
- While the game provides no information on this, testing indicates that the bonus damage is +2 for the Sniper Rifle, +2 for the Laser Sniper Rifle and +3 for the Plasma Sniper Rifle. [1]
