- The Heavy Laser's Critical Damage is incorrectly listed as 9-11 in XCOM: Enemy Within.
- The Heavy Laser is functionally identical to the EXALT Heavy Laser.
Trivia[]
- The Heavy Laser appears to have a slightly slower cyclic fire rate than the LMG and the Heavy Plasma. This can be seen by how, in Enemy Within, a killed enemy ragdolls on the seventh shot instead of the eighth.
- It's very difficult to see, but the three "barrels" spin as the weapon fires, then quickly spin back afterwards.
