- Doubles cover defense bonus (Half cover will give 40 defense and Full cover will give 80 defense when hunkering down)
- Severly reduces line of sight (signified by a circle around the hunkering down soldier)
- Can only be used in cover
- Can be used by most enemies, but cannot be used by civilians (civilians can use head down, increasing defense by 10 without reducing line of sight, can be used when exposed)
