The Laser Pistol is a weapon in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
Description[]
The Laser Pistol is a straight upgrade from the lowly M1911, boasting a higher rate-of-fire, accuracy at long ranges, ammo capacity and is overall easier to find in the environment. For whatever reason, however, the Laser Pistol is slightly weaker than its human counterpart.
It can be a very reliable backup to have once found, being effective up to Zudjari Commanders, though as advanced alien weaponry start to become more common, the Laser Pistol's usefulness wanes very quickly.
Tips & Tactics[]
- As the Laser Pistol only deals a small amount of damage with each shot, one should compensate for this by firing it in rapid succession. The weapon's recoil is mild enough to remain on target even when fired rapidly.
- Aim for the head to deal critical damage.
Acquisition[]
During the mission Operation: Grifter, the Laser Pistol can be found in the kitchen area of the Hamilton Valley building at the top of the area where the initial skirmish takes place.
Trivia[]
- The Laser Pistol uses the same inventory icon and general model with the Light Plasma Pistol, though colored red instead of plasma's green.
