x Mobility = x * 1⅓ tiles

Fractional speed adds up for dashes and diagonal movement.

Examples:

  • 12 Mobility = 16 tiles (X-COM without PCS, some basic enemies)
  • 13 Mobility = 17.33 tiles (X-COM with PCS Speed+1)
  • 14 Mobility = 18.66 tiles (Faceless, early Stun Lancers)
  • 15 Mobility = 20 tiles (Chryssalid)
  • 16 Mobility = 21.33 tiles (Gatekeeper)

How far can my operatives move with their mobility?

After all modifiers of equipment, the number of tiles in a linear direction a soldier can move become:
Mobility: (blue move/yellow move)
  • 10: 6/7
  • 11: 7/7
  • 12: 8/8
  • 13: 8/9
  • 14: 9/9
  • 15: 10/10
  • 16: 10/11
  • 17: 11/11
  • 18: 12/12
  • 19: 12/13
  • 20: 13/13
  • 21: 14/14
  • 22: 14/15
  • 23: 15/15

So if blue movements are most important, the movement numbers to aim for are: 12,14,15,17,18,20,21 and 23
