A Plasma Grenade is an explosive grenade and utility item in XCOM 2.
When the Plasma Grenade Proving Ground project is complete, all Frag Grenades are upgraded to Plasma Grenades.

- The Plasma Grenade deals increased damage to environmental objects: destroying trees; automobiles exploding immediately.
- Compare with Frag Grenades: 2 frag grenades are required to destroy trees; a frag grenade ignites automobiles which then explode on the next turn, or 2 frag grenades are required to detonate an automobile on the same turn.
