I've heard a couple of those comments in game-play videos and seen several discussions to the origins of the "meat" in ADVENT burgers on various XCOM 2 related forums and sub-Reddit; here is one Reddit thread with a screen capture of Tygan's comment:  Apparently ADVENT burgers are a bit suspicious...

Sorry, a bit paranoid after that fanon insertion a week back. Anyway, I'm not a fan of Soylent Green (the book)/Soylent Viridian (the Wh40k Imperial Guard ration), and I have major suspicions, but I'll have to get to that mission first. - MA4585159 (talk)
