- Completely unrelated. In the "real" timeline the Ethereals rely on mass gene-harvesting rather than natural selection (i.e. murdering XCOM personnel until they come up with a Volunteer), and created bodies from scratch. Avatar is not immune to Soulfire. However, he is immune to any negative mental conditions, so Insanity and Domination are not working.

Who are Avatars really?[]
Some IP made single edit back in the 2016.
User:Alextfish made this edit back in the 2016.
User:Alpha Omega Plus made another edit back in the 2017.
But the latest edit several months ago from some IP says that they are not ADVENT and not aliens.

- I stick with Avatars being the ADENT units because most other ADENT units have
Advprefix indefaultgamedata_characterstats.inianddefaultmissions.ini. The only exception that I know of is the Sectopod with theSectopodcode. - PsiWitch was clearly meant as ADVENT unit, at least at some point.
