Terminal is an agent in XCOM: Chimera Squad.

Description[]

Terminal lost her family in the invasion and was ultimately adopted by a doctor who’d lost her only daughter. She developed an interest in medicine and apprenticed under the doctor for years. Sadly, Terminal was orphaned again when an ADVENT attack wiped out their town. She was pulled from the rubble by a resistance group; once she recovered, she eagerly pledged her skills to their cause.

Terminal proved to be as fearless as an Android in battle, saving hundreds of lives during the war. As Chimera Squad’s sole combat medic, she does what it takes to keep her squadmates breathing: she’s as handy with a gun as she is with a MediKit..[1]

Terminal's weapon of choice is a Submachine Gun.

Abilities[]

Rank Name Description
Cadet Safeguard Terminal sends the GREMLIN to an ally to restore four HP, cleanse Burning, Acid, and Poison effects, and grant 20 Defence. Terminal can target herself with Safeguard. Does not automatically end the turn.
Cadet Hack Door Hack open a door at the start of a breach.
Cadet Gremlin Stabilize Stops an agent from bleeding out.
Deputy Agent Refresh Heals all allies at her breach point for two HP. One use per mission.
Field Agent Sustain If Terminal takes enough damage to begin bleeding out, she is instead reduced to one HP and immediately enters stasis for one turn. One use per mission.
Field Agent Pin Down Terminal shoots non-damaging suppressive fire at a target to push their turn down the timeline. Two turn cooldown.
Special Agent Cooperation Terminal coordinates with a nearby unimpared ally to grant them an immediate bonus action. Cooperation has a three turn cooldown.
Senior Agent Armor System Upgrades Safeguard to provide +1 armor to the protected unit.
Senior Agent Resilience Terminal Heals up to full at the end of every encounter.
Principal Agent Second Wind Terminal sends the GREMLIN to all allies, restoring 4 HP, cleansing Burning, Acid, and Poison effects, and stabilizing allies who are bleeding out. One use per mission.

Principal Agent Guardian 5 Overwatch triggers for multiple targets as long as ammo is available.

Tips[]

  • Pin Down costs only one action, and does not end the turn.
  • Armor given via Armor System upgrade can still be shredded by enemies, but using Safeguard again reapplies it.
  • Refresh can be used from the third or fourth breach slot as well, not just the second, like breach items.
